It is a good practice use relative file names where appropriate when
linking to files on the same computer as the diagram file that contains
the linked object. For example, if you have a number of diagrams
that are part of a project and contain hyperlinks to one another, it's
best to use the file names alone as the hyperlink "FILE1.EDG"
(assumed relative) or ".⁄FILE1.EDG" (explicitly relative) rather
than "C:⁄PROJECT⁄FILE1.EDG". Using relative file name
links permits you to move the entire project to a different folder or
drive without having to reconstruct all of the links. There is
a relative/absolute option to help with creating relative links in the
browse dialog box used by the Set Hyperlink screen. NOTE: all web URL
hyperlinks must be absolute, starting with one of the following protocol
identifiers "http:", "https:", "ftp:", or
"file:".
